my photoshop was kinda rough, but my point was to have you see where your head was going to be with your current seating seatup. It didn't look good.

Personally, I think a chop would take the shape of your roof and flatten it out too much, taking away from the character of the car, but like I said, that's my personal opinion :D

No choppy choppy. Looks great as is. I'd chop it if it was a rust bucket but yours is too nice!

I like the wheel and tire idea better than chopping it. It looks good like it is!

  16. My thought exactly on the grille. It would look tits with a '34 grille or anything with a backward tilt.

As for the chop, I wouldn't go as far as that first photochop by ELECTRODUDE, but FAT HACK has it close.... maybe an inch, or try a wedge chop.

    I chopped mine 2-1/2",
took some of the crown out of the top and trimmed a few inches off the bottom

not a style for everyone but I liked it

Eh, I think I'd leave it. It might look a little better with just a little off the top, but I don't think it's worth going through the process for 2".

Electrodude did a great photo chop.It should help you decide. If you do you will have to lower the seat or chop your ass .I personally like it chopped. Today I chopped a mint barn find 33 Ford 2 door sedan 3 inches for a friend. It was almost creepy cutting such a nice car but what the hell it looks tits now. My vote is 2 inches on yours.

  28. Interesting little car.

I like the look as is with the exception of the flat grille shell.

Still got the stock grille shell?
A body with all those nicely flowing lines needs a swoopy front end.

If you do a wheel swap, get another set of tires so you can go back and forth.
Nothing wrong with the wheels that are on there now, a bit modern for some perhaps, but they look good.

I really like Scooters pic of the full fendered car, but all one color would improve that car in my eyes.

A smoothly flowing not overly large in diameter tubular nerf that goes all the way across in the back would improve things there and give the car an allusion of lower than it really is.
Visually balancing the large rear window as it were.

If you put the stock front grille shell et al on - if you do - a pair of small vertical nerfs like you see on some drag racing 40 Ford coupes would look good and offer a degree of protection.

    No chop is my vote.

Dunno how tall you are, but it looks like the seat is setting you up a little high.
A lower seat would help here.

I would definately change the wheel tire combo, and grill. Get the windshield frame in it. Do the bolt on stuff first, those will change the overall look dramaticly. Even try different color combos on it. Then after all the easy stuff is tackled and it still dont look quite right to you then go for a very slight chop.
