12.5 % bidders premium , 15.5% if you bid online. not a lot of manufacturers looking for machinery right now , i'll be curious how the sale goes
The vibratory finishers looked interesting, but who can pony up the $5k - $24k they're worth? Still, could be the start to a great intake and carb polishing business... ~Jason
Check here. http://www.auctionflex.com/showlots...sortorder=lotnumasc&pagenum=1&action=&lang=En That site is kind of confusing.
Got a Summit catalog in todays mail, they still have lots of Crane stuff in it, maybe they made a deal on the side.
If there is one thing at auctions I really hate, it's the buyer's premium. That's just pure greedy profit to the auctioneer who's already charging the seller a handsome fee.So the auctioneer makes like 25% of the value of the item for a few minutes work and some advertising and maybe a portapotty? I skipped a car dealer auction last week because they wanted a huge premium and two forms of photo id and credit cards or authorized letters of credit from your bank.
I'm curious as to what the patents and trade marks go for and to whom. If memory serves, Harvey had a bunch of patents on design, manufacturing and processes. Bet the guy in the funny black hat is there.
