I could use a hand (eye) to figure out what these two cars are. I know the 5 window is a plymouth, but not sure if it's a '35 or a '36 (is there a difference?) I was told the blue 3 window is a chevy, but I have no clue what year. Please don't ask me all kinds of questions about them, I just want to know what I'm looking at. These are the only pics I have. Thanks.
36 or so plymouth. Can't tell other than that. the one with the raised lip around the front window. 36 or so packard.
wow, a packard? hmmm, interesting... The guy told me he thought it was a chevy, I had no clue, so I spent 3 hours on carnut attempting to find something that matched. He has some really different stuff there, but packard was one I didn't check. Thank you LOWCAB
He's not asking an arm and a leg, but he's not letting them go cheap, and he's not in a hurry to sell.
I didn't think the 37/38's had provisions for cloth tops.... Plus those doors look too short to be 37/38. That being said the front end does look to be 37.
Hi, The last picture in the first group is a Packard, it is a 36 or 37. As far as the Plymouth, it is a composit. It is a 35 body, with a 37 nose. Hope that helps.
look on the right door post."36 numbers start at 1111701-1183569 for the Detroit plant 3157151-3162365 for the L A plant These were the two biggest plants but there was more plants each with there own #s "37 started slightly larger numbers
Great info, thanks 30dodge! Unfortunately I'm about 150 miles from the car, but I will take the info with me if I make the trip. THIS is why I love this place.
