I used to work right there. When did they put in a Bob's?

Looks like I'll be trapped in Fresno this weekend, but will probably be at the Bob's in Toluca Lake next Friday.

According to Weather .com there is only a 10% or so chance of rain until after 9pm. At 2am there is a 40% chance. Looks like I will be there in my roadster. It will be fun convincing the wife that it will not rain nor be too cold.

I just got back from Bob's. No one showed up except myself, Cyclone Kevin and Gasser Garage. And they drove together. What happened to everyone else?

I got stuck taking care of some home related stuff. maybe the threat of rain kept everyone away?

    was this promoted anywhere else?

    Timebomb,
Sorry that we missed you, Did you go in and grab some grub?
Joe was ofering up burgers to the participants, I ended up being the last guy there.
Thank you both Gassers Garage and Roasterpu, as well as Gary Robinson and Mike Sauer and family. Joe will attempt to put it on again next month Same Deal so perhaps we'll have a better weather eve and more peeps.

I spent the day @ Nick Alexanders Woody Open House. The day ended up being pretty good save for the morning showers which kept many home, but swapping was going on a great lunch was served and lots of yapping was going on.

Sidebar Here! This may have been the last for this great event!
It seems like the City of Huntington Park wants to do an eminent domain on that whole area in order to put in a COSCO Store. This shouldn't happen as Nick bought these buildings and renovated them, improved the blighted area and made them worth something.

This is a community center that allows many different people to see woodys of all years and enjoy their design. write a letter or send an email.
This place has got to be spared

    Hey,

I was there until 5:45, nota HAMBER to be seen! Maybe next month?

On the subject of Nick Alexander's fight with the city of Hunington Park, and his renovated property........cities today are like sharks in a tank, in afeeding frenzee, when the city board members smell retail sales dollars from mega-big retailers they go gonzo! More money means more power, more power means more money. History is only important if it "fits" their plan & mission statement. Other than that, it's only an obstacle to the money. The city of Signal Hill has this action down to a fine art, just try and open a small business in that city.

Funny that Pimpin and Timebomb both showed and the people inside said no other cars had shown. They told me I was the first to show. I think we showed up at about 6:15 or so. I based my commnet of no one showed on the staff saying no other cars had been there.
