Hudson 308 rods in a GMC 6?

    i think there was a H.A.M.B.'r who built a long-rod GMC for their HA/GR a while back using the hudson rods and chrysler flat 6 bearings. did a search but no joy.

    i'm looking for particulars on this swap, center to center, rod bearing journal diameter and width, compression distance, deck height c to c on the GMC, piston choices, etc.

    Tom Langdon built a 341 cubic inch GMC using the Chrysler/DeSoto six rods, I believe.
     
  3. His name is Ron Golden. Get over on the HA/GR board, it's there- all 347 horsepower!! You'll have to ask him for particulars though.
