    This is the coolest "J" Ive ever seen!
    The wheels,tires,front suspension,stance etc,all perfect!

  11. That could be Henry Alexander's first fiberglass body. The mold was taken off his steel car about 2 years ago.

    For thos looking for one there's two for sale about 3 blocks from my house at a buy here pay here. I have no idea what he wants for them, just saw them while driving by and snapped a cell phone pic.

  15. The pic's dated 2002, but that could be a mistake.
    I haven't heard that any Henry J fiberglass bodies are currently available. Are they?

    Hotroded, we were at Bellmore station back in October, came out from NYC by train. Loved the car shame we couldn't bring it back !

    we stoped for about 2 hrs + went to eat, next time, a week in the city was to much, i'd like to go upstate to the 'bones' shop + some shows etc...........

    There is a add in Gasser Wars Magazine. A company called ScottRods is selling complete 51 henry J fiberglass bodys. You can find them at www.ScottRodscustom.com . They offer race weight or street weight versions.

    This is my 1951 Henry J, I built it in the early 90's, owned it for about 12 years, sold it in 2002. It has a 455 Olds, Turbo 400, narrowed Dana 60, 10 point roll cage. It is now in Canyon Country, California. Bob

    I'm not too hip on that roof line. Looks like they grafted on a roof from a Corsica or something. The stock roof looks way better IMO
