Think I saw this car at the Woodward Dream Cruise back in 2001. It had an awsome sounding Hemi in it. It was my first time there and was tanking up on the Canadian side before going over to Detroit. He pulled in for gas and we talked. He gave me some pretty good tips about Woodward. Check his plate:D

That's pretty cool Paul but give us a shot of your first garage and where you built the coupe.

    hiya Mike!

I haven't looked at these pictures for years,
this is the first car I built, 25 or so years ago...
built in a dirt floored lean-to shed,
the roof was so low I could only work on one end at a time,
and had roll it outside to get a look at it.
needless to say progress was slow during winter months..

my next car hole was a small two car with a concrete floor,
drafty, leaky and only 110 power but it was a giant step up
then finally the six car where I'm at now,
funny sometimes it seems like yesterday, and other times it feels like a million years ago..

    anyway, here ya go,
I don't think these pictures have ever been shown on the HAMB before

the shot with the red head (my ex) in it must have been right after the first Unfinished Nationals car show in Graham WA

she is smiling because I just took Favorite Project Car, Favorite Metal Finishing and Logo Choice, my car was on all the fliers and T shirts for the next show, in no small part due to Tuff Tin, thanks Mike those were good times

Paul ,tell us more about your first car. Looks very intersting to see a 35-35 fenderless rod. We should build more of them!

got a '64 New Yorker Hardtop wagon that would fit right in there.

Those early '60s Chrysler wagons are cool. One has to get used to the nose of '64 Chryslers though before most like them (or not ofcourse). There's a '64 green custom Chrysler wagon floating around on the forum which is spot-on as a custom wagon.
But, and I don't want to be too much of a show off here, ... yeah, right... sorry about that :D ...but how about a '64 NewYorker Salon, which is currently hiding out back...?

It's been my longest project. Everytime another project comes in between I would like to do first. And those 'in between' projects take way too long of course, so this '64 NY remains patiently waiting in 'storage'.
