Tom, Here's one that's pretty good. I'll take a few pics of the clamp and post them here in just a little while. Here's a link to a thread I started here on the HAMB to show off this little gem :http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=304396 Bart EDIT: More pics of the clamp.
Here's one of mine. paid 50 bucks for the frame & fork and the rear wheel. Made he seat myself, rattlecan whitewall in the front.
My little brother got a Rupp from his grand-mother-in-law for free. He got it running for our Halloween party, dressed up like "Dumb and Dumber", and rode it 5 miles to our house! He even had the brief case, it was the best, I'll see if I can find some pics. By the way he's 6'8"!
C'mon Guys, Plan on bringing that mini to the Lonestar Round-up for some elbow rubbing dirt track racing... Complete with Trophy girls...
I picked up this artic cat mini bike this fall, the whole family has been having a blast driving it. The original motor has been replaced with a bit more power.
INJUNTOM, this was a great idea for a thread. Cool thread to look at. I don't have an old mini bike but I have a newer one that's a blast. A Mini Bike Social Group was created if anybody are interested in joining.
My legs got too bad to roam the big local car swaps we have so I started building minibikes. I buy and sell a lot of them now, they're real popular around the midwest. I started with the black chopper and the red one. The blue one came and went, as did the green one. There are and have been others ...
"'MARLON""Im going to sit in the Land Rover and have another Sherry while Jim jumps out and throws a net over the momma Lion and captures the cubs
Great thread! This is bringing back a lot of memories. My brother got a metal flake blue Scat Cat for Christmas one year when we were little. That thing was a BLAST! Now I gotta build one. Damn you all for making me start another project I can't afford. haha.
Yup! I'm hooked again! I'll be scouring the swap meets around here in '09. My son's 13 & one of these would be a perfect father-son project.
