There is a pretty solid black 40' Coupe that went to "Iowa" via south county St. Louis.......I called some gal' in Chicago and she said that her brother has the car now.......with this post back up top.....any of you Iowa guys know of a REAL solid 40' coupe that surfaced in the last couple of years?

    Thanks,
    Chris

Just saw this picture of Dick Falk's car. Still has cross springs and a flathead. Sure looks exactly right to me.

I posted these on another 40 coupe thread, I might as well add them here!
1st photo is me 20 years ago taken my coupe for it's 1st trip around the block.
Second is a shot of it 18 years and 25,000 miles later. It's never had a hood on it in the 16 years I've been driving it.

around here there are several """old guys""" well..... 'older guys' :)
that still have their 40 coupes from the late 50s-early 60s. --- sittin here thinkin about it i know of more than 1/2 dozen right in the area here & they LOVE their 40s --- so NOWAY will they sell em but someday they will become available one at a time. :D
seems like this part of the country "was' saturated with 40 ford coupes.

  17. Better show you mine then. Had this since 1990.

Only car my dad has sold in the 30 years was a nice '40 Coupe. I'm REALLY hating that with this thread! Some REALLY nice cars posted here!

I saw Lee Pratt's 40 at the 1st Lone Star Round Up, along with Big Ric's '40. Strange that there are no pics of Big Ric's '40 on this thread; one of my all-time favorites.

1940 Ford Coupes are great, so let's bring this old thread up again...

Here's my friend Paul's very nice 1940 Coupe. After many years of dreaming
he finally bought one. And -40 Coupes stick together... :D
