My dad has been looking around a lot on here lately. He gets a kick out of some of you guys. Here's some pictures of the car he built. Downs body (yeah its fiberglass, who cares), 327 with 3x2 setup, super t-10 4 speed, 57 chev rear. Not a replica or clone, not exactly like the movie car, but it is inspired by the greatest movie in the world. The car is a ton of fun, super reliable, and it zips along pretty good.
Some of the pictures i have uploaded of when they had a car show thing at the mall. It's the only pictures we have with the wider rear wheels/tires.

Very nice. A.G. was one of my early inspirations.
If your 55 was painted black and had chrome reverse wheels.... folks would do a double take watching both cars get after it when the light turns green!

I've always been weirded out by the grille shell on that particular movie car. Your old man's car is cool though. Side note, sort of OT but the license plate on that car came from Lucas' first movie "THX 1138". I know that most of you know that, but a few may not. Thought I'd throw it out there. LOL

    Bad ass coupe, man!

    Cool car's...both the 32 and the 55..
The AG coupe was inspiration for many obviously..
That car was pretty much the reason for my own passion for 32 Fords..

"I'm staying right here having fun" JM The two rides look very cool. It doesn't matter how many Milner couples are out there, your dad is having fun and that what counts.

    CRUISER

  19. If you search for history on the car you'll note that it was supposed to be a channelled car, thus the short grille shell, or so that is how the story is told.
t's on here on the hamb someplace.

exactly and the shortened grill doesn't match the rest of the car.

i still like it! if i was building a 32 coupe in the late 50's and early 60's, say I had no grill for it and my buddy gave me a good deal on a sectioned one, you bet your ass id use it!

  23. I'm diggin' the 55 as much as the coupe. Not to steer the thread but who built the glass body on the coupe? Looks real nice with the outside hinges and all.

Your Dads glass coupe looks 100% better than the AG THX 32!!!!----Sure its a steel one, but, its also a 20 footer, that sucker is so wavy its got to be a "Friendly" car!!
I have checked it out at various shows right after AG came out, & its rough for sure!!
