Customs Lets see some kustom caddy's!!!!

Allways loved Caddy's, thanks everyone for the great pictures.

 

thats like taking a woman with the most perfect tits and making them wayyyy bigger and wayyyy out of proportions!!!

I also think he needs more tailpipes.

 

Hey, I have a 1956 Cadillac, and am thinking of having the roof chopped 2-3". However my delemna is the rear window, I would like the rear window to be stockish looking, but have been told safety glass cant be cut?

So I am wanting to know what solutions people have used for chopped top Cadillacs? Be perticuarly interested to hear from those that have chopped Caddys.

Well Nik, you're correct, the rear window is tempered, cannot be cut...and my '55 Caddy is not chopped but I remember seeing a thread on how-to...somewhere...and they didn't chop the rear window, left it stock and simply lowered the roof (obviously they took some of the crown out of it to keep the rear window in the stock location)...I'll see if I can find it...

Oz is doing his now. He posted some pics awhile ago. In an old Custom Rodder there was a write up of John Aeillo ( sp ? ) doing John D 'Agistino's 54 Cadstar. I cut 2 3/8 " out of the windshield posts and 3 1/8 " out of the back but I filled in the opening for the custom limo look
