Nope, it is so ridiculous anyway so I might as well make it completly stupid. Or, I might just Earl Schieb it blue and call it good.

My '59 Ford Country Squire I sold about two years ago. The wagon was completely original paint, int etc... had 53k original miles. Came with all paperwork since new..unbelievable wagon. A guy I do work for knew I had it and really wanted it so I sold it to him....which was ok because I had found a 62 Dodge max wedge car for a great price so goodbye Squire hello Dart:D I still see that wagon about every 6 months..the guy loves it..It was just a great car with great history and paper. Doing a '60 Rambler American wagon now. Had a all original 57 Ford Country Squire with 70k orig miles..got it from the original family. Had all registrations since new in the glovebox. I will try to find pics..that thing was better than the '59. Black on red too:rolleyes: I wish I had that one again..we loaded the family in it all the time and hit PCH. Great car.

  10. You guys are a bad influence!

I started thinking about an old wagon as a tow vehicle for the digger I'm building. Then I started thinking that my daughter will need a school vehicle. If she get's my Blazer I'll need to come up with a new daily. :) As I've been mentioning this to the dear wife I've been getting the "look".

All that being said, this thread rocks for a reference!

These Longroofs can really grow on you. The more I see the more I want one. It's hard to believe, but at one time you couldn't give one away.

Beaterville-mobile. Looks like white trash, all new drivetrain, tubular control arms. People move their cars away from me and my 'ol wagon. Guess they're afraid my cast iron doors will put a dent in their tin cans!

normally I might agree on steel wheels but those Americans look perfect on that nova, and I don't like torque thrust wheels! (just because they are too common)

Here's one I had a few years ago. It was a lot of fun, 283, Glide, Factory A/C. Fun Fun, didn't see many in the Midwest.

almost 900 replies, but non of them a 71-76 GM full size (clamshell) wagon. Here's mine: a 1972 Buick Estate Wagon (455/4, full options, deluxe interior)

  28. I know, it's not old but I tried to make it look old and a little cool. 1992 Roadmaster converted into a sedan delivery with welded doors, filled windows, louvered hood, crazy stripes and flames, hollywood flippers. Nothing wrong with making the newer rides look like they were done way back.

  30. Thanks "da34guy" for that compliment. Nice to have a ride that always starts, rides smooth, has ac with the kustom touch. It really turns heads. First comment is "WTF". It'll do till I can the '38 Chevy Delivery going.
