Love this truck

I photographed this truck in front of the NHRA museum in Pomona, Ca. a while back. I understand it's owned by Billy Gibbons. I wonder if he does much surfing. Anyway, very cool truck. Have this picture on my desktop. Look at it every day. Thought someone might enjoy seeing it too.

 

You'd think a rich rockstar could afford paint. But other than that, it's cool.

I think its a neat idea. Most ppl here will be sheep and hate it cuz its a "rat rod" but I think the lines are cool. That said I dont really care for hot rods.

 

The board is bolted on to make it difficult for knuckleheads to steal it.

If he's afraid someone will steal the surf board, why don't he leave it home. I'm sure Billy Gibbons is a "BIGTIME" surfer. The truck is okay, but Billy can fuck off. ZZ top is chilly anyway.

 

It's not my style (lack of paint of any kind and the tore-up grill) but it is pretty cool otherwise. I have seen it around and it is put together well.....not falling apart like a typical "rat rod".

 

Kinda makes it hard to ride waves with too.
