man, everyones got such a hardon for chopping! i think it looks great as is!!! course mines chopped 3! the pic of your pop prayin you dont go to jail cause of this car, is priceless!!!
Your Mom looks yummy. A yummy mummy. Man, those wheels gotta go! Looks great otherwise, love to see another coupe build. Pete
well im gonna try to reply to everyones comments in one! the transmission is a power-glide, i dont think im gonna chop it right now (i'm only 15 and already 6"3, the car already has a 6 inch channel and i dont wanna drive in the fetal position), the wheels are soon being replaced with steelies and whitewalls
I do not know you, so I thought you were the man in the brown shirt, not the young man in the red shirt. You have to admit it is somewhat unusual for a 15 year old to have such a NEAT MODEL A ... But I think is it GREAT that you do. Congratulations on having such a neat car at 15, especially when a LOT of folks here twice and three times your age have not yet accomplished that !!
How much kickup are you running in back? Buggy spring? Stock crossmember or something else? And, I agree, it's freakin awesome that a 15y/o built a car like that...
Progress has been way to slow (its hard building a hot rod and going to school) any ways i got the new wheels on finally and the floors are all welded in and the seat has been mounted here are a couple pics of it with the new wheels this was just so you could really get an idea of what the roof looks like with the 60 chevy wagon top as a donor to fill it. I FIT!!!!!!
15 with an A Coupe is pretty f-ing cool... Please tell me your not scared to use all 6 carbs. And your going to need straight linkage for those carbs. -E.C.
If I'm not mistaken, that's this guy's Mom and Dad. This looks just like the A posted in another thread, and he is 15 and getting ready to drive it soon! Said he had it since he was in 7th grade. Then again, I had a student in my 6th grade class last year who turned 15.... Car looks great, and should be a blast to drive. Who inspired you into this lifestyle? You said dad had a '60 El Cam... anything else? I remember buying my first car when I was 12. I sold it when I was 17, and have regretted it ever since.
luckily im now a sophomore in HS and my dad (fat guy in most pics) inspired me, here he is when he was 15 back in 73 with his 55. funny thing when he showed me this pic the first thing he said is "those are real chrome reverse" i'll never forget that for some reason
I'M SCARED!!! im planning to put some miles on this thing and the work to keep all 6 of those babies working properly would be a pain. Although i know its possible, i think i'm going to just hook up the middle 2. The main reason is because its and automatic car and i cant rev it up when im at a stop light unless i put it in and out of park all the time
I finally have some new pics of my car. (don't worry im replacing that big ugly distributor with a smaller one) finally here is a picture of my favorite part of the car.
cars coming along nice .. interesting minty fresh wheel color goes well with black , keep up the good work
