I'd say perfect... Though it's tough without a full 3/4 view. From what I can tell, I bet you will want to raise the rear suspension and get those rear tires back in the reveal... A proper stance makes a chop too...
It looks like about 4 inches. Pretty close to right to me. Enough vertical windshield distance to satisfy those who carry ticket books? From the side and back it is right on but then I like the small back windows.
I like it. It makes the area behind the door, where on a Ford the quarter window would be, look really good. I thought the back window looks a little too short though. Ever thought about only cutting 3 inches out of the back window, but 4 all the rest of the way around?
That would work if it were a Ford.... this thing just looked wrong that high...its longer and wider than a Ford
then again the other end of the spectrum my 30 plymouth has a 2 1/2" tall rear window. I really kinda like that, it'll be a b#*$h to back up though
You may look into raising the windshield into the panel behind the visor, or you'll have trouble seeing traffic signals, etc.
i like the front and sides. enough to look good without being a cartoon (no pun intended). i agree on leaving the rear glass larger. i would take two inches less out of just the window; an inch each top and bottom. but that's just me.
your eyes aren't 2 1/2 inches tall...you can see out a slot! (trust me....my old truck had a 3" tall back window)
pretty much looks like crap there if you ask me.... would look much better in my garage I agree about the stance though. If it were mine, I would raise the back up for a more classic look.
I actually like the way that looks while understanding the issue with getting the trapazoid window shape back to square if you will. That looks bad ass. More effort getting everything inline but looks sick.
A pie shape of metal [ in white ] behind the rear window and some relief cuts [ in yellow ] to get things inline. I like how it looks like that only because its " so square to begin with it gives it a entirely different look , up close it looks good but unsure how it would look overall. Hahah good thing its just photoshop and ya can sqrew around before actually cutting.
Not that my two cents are worth that, but I've always thought angle chops were kind of neat on 60's styled drag looking cars with too-tall slicks radiused nice with the reveals, alot of rake, and one honking large blown something or other up front with Zoomies. Cartoon stuff, you know? Big versions of Zingers
I personally think you had it right to start with 4". Bring up the back to give the entire car a rake. If you can't see traffic lights get one of those little prisim thingamabobs afix it to dash area and drive crap out of it. I used one in my 30 ford coup and I could see when the light changed and then would proceed to haul ass. LOL
