Kudos to graverobber63 for starting this thread. There are many truely great pics posted here. Great inspiration. BUT, some on this site seem to have lost the focus of this site. The HAMB totes, "spreading the gospel of traditional hot rods and kustoms to greasers world wide...". This is exactly the reason I joined it, but posting lowriders, ferris wheels, military planes, etc., on this thread, though some are very kool in their own right, don't belong here. Just think we should all focus on the HAMB creed. No rebutals required. I feel better now. Loppy out.

Here's some pics of my dad's altered at Temple, TX and his A/Fuel car at Green Valley in the late 60's. The last one is in the staging lanes at Dallas International Motor Speedway in 1969.

Yea, I can't think of any WWII fighter pilots that came home from the War and built hot rods with influences from their former job. And Lowriders, geesh, can you imagine?! They have had no impact on anything......

This is a cool picture post. Things that influence us and we find cool. A stop in time that make you say "wow".

    Carry on.

A couple more, Grandad working on the Willys, and some future hot rods in Capitola 1929. Sorry, the Willys was a stocker.
