heres stock height, 3" chop and 4" chop tell me what you guys think.....im leanin towards a 4" cut, garnish mouldings and glass are already pulled out and ready to be molested..........
I have a 5" chop on my Tudor.... I would go more but Johnny Law may not like it. Try that with photo shop.
I like a 4" chop on a Coupe. Depends on how much you're gonna drive it,and how tall you are. 5 or 6" is okay on a Sedan, cause you can lay back a little.
I kind of like it with out the chop, it has East Coast Flavor and it separates it from the rest a bit. But if you are going to chop it, which is a good idea also I say 4". The window frames DO look better and it looks just plain bad but in a good way!
Ha Ha...I still say that car looks great as it sits... but...if you insist on chopping it, then CHOP it!!!!
I agree with j ripper. Your 4" photo shop blank stripe is the same size as your frame rail 3" The pics seem alittle off. Chop it 3" or 3 1/2" tack the roof on and sit in the car, look at it from a distance etc. Have fun,Smokey
dam Bob........thats when i first got it.........i hated those valve covers and headers..........i think mine is 4" chop not sure, i fit ok and i am 6'
Proportionately, I'm liking the 3". Will you cut carefully and try to preserve the current paint with minimal blending? Or ya going to a whole new look? Your car enjoys a certain subtlety I like. Try to preserve that if you can
In my humble opinion, a 5 in chop and 3 in channel is the ideal on a Model A coupe. But given your height, something has to give. If you have figured you will fit with the 4 in chop, without question go for the 4 in.
5w..........i am not sure on the exact chop as i bought the car already chopped but your welcome to measure mine at the Sat breakfast or i can measure and let you know
You should measure from the top to the bottom of the rear window, so we all know what the perfect chop is.
