Actually, 'Klaus, it started as an ERTL die-cast promo bank. Grille is from Modelhaus, bodywork "J. B. QWIK WELD" epoxy.
Cool stuff as always, maybe now that the weather's starting to turn there will be bigger model car sunday threads. New project I'm starting on. I'm lowering the body on the rails a bit, think I'll run the spoke wheels up front but really in need of something else in the rear.

has anyone ever done a tech on here from start to finish of a complete build (customizing and such)? Would be real interesting to see the the crazy amount of work that goes into some of these. Congrats to everyone....these are great.
