That's fun to look at, what the story with them? Judging by the numbers written on them in chalk it looks like they are getting ready to be sold. Also, what's the car with the curved back in the second photo>

It would takes several lifetimes to restore that much iron. What a waste of good projects. If I had that much old tin, I would keep a few and sell the rest. Many dads out there looking for a cool project to work on with their kids.
There's also a far more sinister reason people number cars in a salvage yard. I hope that's not whats going on here.
I'm not sure what that is. My normal response when I don't know what type of car it is would be to say "It's a Plymouth". In this case that might be true. It could also be a chevy, as he had quite a few chevys.
stuff has been there since I was a kid(now 31). Look when I drive by every time. Nothing ever seems to leave just more added. What about the 41 ford convert on top of another car.

Not real sure of course but it sure does favor a 35 Buick I once had. It was a 40 series wih that sloped back and had a spare tire in the place of the trunk usually seen on these cars. Just a guess. 48 Poncho
