Can anyone identify these lenses? Bought them from eBay as '37 Ford ones, but they're not! They're 3-3/8" dia. overall, and the visible part through the bezel would be about 3-1/8" dia. They have "Yankee Reflex 261 C" in the middle. They were pretty cheap so not too upset, but would like to know what they really fit, if only to be able to off them again! Suggestions at home have included Jeep and WWII GMC truck (CWC?). Thanks.
Great, thanks a lot. Don't want to buy a set do you? ;-) Actually our postage would probably be far too expensive to send back from here.
Yankee made aftermarket and replacement parts, mirrors, lenses, etc. These may be generic lenses for trailers and pickups, etc.
yup, I'm thinking they might fit those generic lights with the snap ring that holks in the lens....like the very common older Yankee add on turn signals, etc.
These are glass, aren't they? A giveaway should be that flat spot on the edge, shouldn't it? Glass lenses were not common after about 1952 or so on any car or truck, so these are surely from the very early 50s or 40s or earlier.
