I will be there, along with alot of the other Flintown guys. The Nightmares car club should be set up somewhere, and I will likely park with those guys. I will be there all three days, on friday we usually park near the top of the hill, by Oscar Rau furniture. Here is a link to the show, and a pic of my truck, so you will know atleast one vehicle to look for.

Wouldn't that be all German cars? :)

Not to get too far off topic but what is there to do up there? I was thinking my wife and I could go up there for a weekend to relax before the snow starts falling.

  7. Isn't it "Frankenmuth"?

"Frankenmouth" sounds like Boris Karloff's secret gay porn flick.

  8. Ill be up there. Dont know about friday but saturday for sure. Its a good show. Lots of places to walk around to in town. Cheese haus, fudge, sausage, beer, pancake breakfast, lederhosen.

    The show is Sept. 7th-9th.

As far as things to do, there is alot of small collectable shops, various food shops, and the biggest tourist attraction around here... Bronners, a store with Christmas stuff, year round (its a little sickening to me).

Its a pretty neat little town, and worth a visit atleast once.

  11. Although I can do without the current radio commericial campaign.

As usual, I can't make it. The Rotary club of Plymouth does their annual chicken bbq that weekend, and I always volunteer for it. It's free bbq chicken, free beer and burning meat... what more could ya ask for? :)

I'm planning to run the boys up on Saturday for a bit. We've got to pick up fiber for the bride at Zielinger's Wool just down from the park about half way to Bronners. I'll look for the Nightmares as I'm getting to recognize a few of them from the Post Office.

Mmmmm...Beer. And a few thousand cars. Always a good time in Frankenmuth. The wife and I will be roolin sans kids on Sat. The Beater will stay home. I hate winning awards and the 'judges' seem to like to give them to me. I'd rather drive.

Didnt even know about this. I might try to make it this weekend, with or without my car, but hopefully with.

  15. I'd go, but managed to escape Flint (Goodrich) in the early 80's, ha ha ! My next trip back will be for the Autorama or Billetproof.

My brother lives in Clio and I know he usually goes, mostly for the beer. Everybody have fun !

    Johnnie.

Who's your brother that lives in Clio?
    That's where I'm at, and it's a small town!

Anybody else going in a HAMB friendly vehicle?

The NIGHTMARES were asked to set up a display like we had at Autorama, and as such, we get first pick on the good spots.

If any of you have cool rides and feel like parking with us, lemme know ASAP, as I'm going up there tomorrow AM to lay claim to our spots.

    Thanks!
    Steve

Depending on the weather I might roll up on Friday after work in a non-HAMB friendly '48 Ford coupe. I shouldn't be hard to miss. I'll be the one covering my face with my hand as I drive by so no one knows it's me. I guess it's better then walking though.....right???:D

If you decide to walk instead, you might want to leave now...:)
