Here's a picture of mine in the 70's. I still have it and I'm SLOWLY putting it together again. It'll be strip only.

Speaking of gassers, does anyone remember or know what happened to a gasser that I last saw in Tulsa during the 60's. It was an Anglia, painted green, powered by a Hudson 6. Had the name "Green Toad" lettered on doors. The day I saw it was during an NHRA meet at Tulsa International Strip, it was driving down 11th street headed in the general direction of the strip. Always thought it was pretty cool especially with the Hudson engine.

No I haven't. I have been wanting some good info on it, but have yet to get any. There was a meeting up in Tulsa a month or so ago, and didn't go over too well.

Set me up with some "real" info and I would be more than interested. I talk to Chuck Whitfield pretty often, so I am always close by.

    Let me know.

Now that's kinda weird. I drug out an old pile of Rod & Customs last night to see what wheels were being run during the mid 60's and ran across this picture. Since I own a couple of Anglia projects, it kinda stuck in my head.

That 'Green Toad' Anglia looks pretty cool. Wonder if the car is still in the Tulsa area? Boy that would be one hell of a car to get ahold of.

Love these Gasser threads. Sure would be cool to see some other 50's Fords. Not that I don't get a weird, tingling sensation when ShakeyPuddin puts those pics up. (Jeeez that thing rules!) Just hard being the minority, sometimes. :)

Thank you so much for the kind words guys. The car was my Dad's last hot rod. He past in 2001. We talked alot about making it a Gasser many, many times. His name was Bob Haas. That's where the BOB HAAS Chevrolet came from. He has two grandchildren that never had the good fortune to meet him. My sons' name is Callahan and my daughters' name is Mackenzie. So that is how we came up with CALLAHN & MACKENZIE on the door.
    Thanks again,
    Todd

    Todd,

The '57 is absolutely beautiful. Fit and finish look to be as good or better than anything I've seen. What a tribute to your Dad.

FTroop , What Nash 5 speed do you have and what`s the 1st gear ratio ? I`ve been trying to figure what rear ratio to run in my Falcon . I`ve got a 3.27 1st gear in mine with 4.86 9" so far. Gasserman
