Have a real nice old car windshield frame, sure would like to find someone that can put it to good use, just hate to throw it in the scrap metal pile. Solid, unrusted, this one wasn't hinged and was mounted in the opening with screws. All the dimensions are on the broken glass. Any help with the ID would be greatly appreciated . Bob Stanley

  2. I just went out behind the garage to measure the windscreen on my 1947/48 Austin A40 and i would say a match within 1/4 inch on all measurements . Even has the mounting holes on the inside edges. So at least you know it,s a smaller car. British Anglia/ Prefect had wind-out windscreen so you can forget that. Topolino is 5 inches smaller. I would stick with the Austin.

  5. I actually opened the OP thread 4 minutes after he posted and said to myself A40. Took me a good 20 minutes to find my inches tapemeasure just to be sure :rolleyes:. Been waiting 20 odd years to ID a Austin A40 part, :D
