The model A is a Sega car, A gas, full on race car, versus a full on street car with radial street tires lol... he left me behind like i had an anchor tied to me :D the last race was actual eliminations, he turned on the red. still not bad for a car that was rotting in the woods this time last year :) IMG_0349.jpg 20250801_210941.jpg

    Congrats on the retirement.
We are planning to be at LF III.
I'm not sure if I will bring a car or a truckload of stuff to try and rehome sell/trade

Bring the truckload of stuff and pull the car on a trailer.

    There. Solved your conundrum.

  10. I have complete confidence that "My Brother" Lloyd will figure it all out!

After a month or two he will be in his new normal with the shop & his own rides allowing him to do what he wants to without pulling all nighters (unless of course he wants to):p

One month to Lloydfest III ......Looking forward to seeing ALL our group of core crazies & meeting a bunch of new ones!

    God Bless
    Bill

Hey LLoyd, we were previously talking about wheels. Did you give these any more thought? I don't want to see you do anything crazy. Like buy matching rears for your fronts.

  12. A friend of mine posted these on my facebook vintage wheel group

I bought some rear wheels to match my front. I can't do that crazy price shit for aluminum slots. They're just wheels. And "car guys" just keep trying to screw over everybody by calling them vintage lmao! The same guys get mad over off topic stuff, but who can afford on topic stuff??? Also the same people that complain about the price of everything else ;) so I'll have TT on the rear, with the gray centers. This rant wasn't directed at you my brother

When I was in HS one of my favorite Tri-Five Chevy was a wagon with black steelies on the rear and 5 spoke Americans on the front. But regardless of what you choose to run your wagon checks all the boxes. At least for me.

Picked up 2 fenders today. One is a peach, the other is way better than what I have, but not perfect. Easy enough to fix though. Also grabbed a decent grille. Need 2 good sedan doors, and a tailgate. Then I will talk about painting the wagon :D 20250812_160659.jpg 20250812_160831.jpg 20250812_160837.jpg 20250812_160841.jpg 20250812_161005.jpg 20250812_161008.jpg 20250812_161013.jpg

Those fenders are going to look great on your car.

  26. Those fenders are nice, nicer than the better fenders I have for the 57 pickup.
