It's that time again! Weather looks great! Don't forget your school supplies!
See you in the morning. What else do you have to do? Mow the lawn? This is more fun and less chance of allergies.
Disclaimer: I re-used a previous year's poster and changed the date, the rest of the information on the advertisement may or may not be accurate still. Let's go play cars!

Ok, that’s about it for this year. I would like to say thank you to our HAMB members that are also Slo Poks for a great show. It was fun. And thanks for the trophy! Always nice to take home some hardware.

Bandit Billy is 10-10 on the side.

    Hey @Bandit Billy .
Did you leave the wife (and truck) at home this time so YOU could be the one to win the trophy?

I didn't even tell her about it! Told her I was golfing. Tired of losing to her. Is that so bad?

Thank You for the follow up. The '57 butter colored, makes me think about a customer that I used change his oil, in 1966. He had the 2x4 option beneath the hood.
Martha's '53 Mainline is what I took my first driving test in, with bad king pins:p

I like small shows like this. Well organized, home built trophies, one tree lined street to walk, beautiful summer day, lots of eateries (and drinkeries) and a small enough crowd so you can meet and talk to folks. Long live the car show!

  24. If your current gig doesn't work out, you might have a career as a car show photographer....you may have to take a pay cut though.
    Great pictures/coverage.

Great pics Bill! Good to see you too!
My '39 was a show winner too, but I didn't feel like hanging around for the awards. Hope they gave the trophy to someone else!

It was good chatting with you again. Did you get a picture of your car with the Bud wagon? You had A position for it.
If the mortgage rates don't drop another point soon I may consider it!

I did Bill, but for whatever reason the team was moving slowly, then just before they got to my car they sped up. I'll post what I could catch, but it's not that great.

For those of you that don't live on the west cost, yes that is $4.19 a gallon for regular, 10% ethanol, self service fuel from a quicky mart in the background!

Val, the wagon had stopped in front of the *Tip Top Tavern to make a "delivery" I found out later. Then they trotted down to the fire station at the North end of Main Street to present a honorary flag to the firefighters as part of the brewer's "Folds of Honor tour" before hanging a U-ey and clippity-clopping it's way back to the semis. Clark County is a very patriotic community I am proud to say. I don't know how the Slo Poks pulled that manuever off but thanks guys!

*Caution, Factoid: The Tip Top Tavern was the 2nd tavern licensed in Washington state after prohibition ended and the 2nd oldest tavern still operating in the state.

Cool event, thanks for sharing your photos.
Those “main street” shows are the best.
