I think that you all may have made a mistake. It was a two-door that he began converting to the more desirable moredoor model

I think he left it so he could show people his skills. I am not a fan, finish the other side and make an early Max Wedge out of it. Those ugly Dodges look great as early Super Stock cars.

Several years ago here in Socal the CHP pulled over what they was a stolen Mercedes with Mazda plates. Full on high risk traffic stop. Turns out the owner did a hell of a job installing all things Mercedes emblems, etc. Made the local news of the CHP not able to tell the difference between a Mazda and a Mercedes.

  7. In Australia there were 3 door ambulances 2 doors on the curb side, one on drivers side. This Dodge is odd but cool.

Yeah. Three door cars like this are pretty common

  13. I've made the same mistake on a later model Kia or Hyundai I think. A larger black 4 Dr sedan. It didn't have the emblems changed over, but from 20 feeet or so it just screamed "Mercedes". Especially the front end styling and tail lamps. I had to take more than a second look.

A friend has one of these cars. He is doing the 4-door to 2-door swap. Apparently it's quite easy on that body style. His car might be in that current state.

He really should have a chrome valve cover and a header on the hot rod side. Maybe also come up with an air cleaner that's half low restriction and chrome, and half stock.
