    I was a member of Byron's Gasser Madness [also known as Gas F/X],
    our "leader" was Byron Stack, unfortunately he passed away a while ago
    however he came to visit us in 2008.
    I'm 5'9 and 1/2" tall and as you can see he was 6' something.
    What a good sport, I DSCN1045.JPG DSCN1048.JPG got him to squeeze into my 30 pickup.

    Desperate to mount a side view mirror to take the car on an outing,
    I had an old door stop and mounted it to the cage;
    it worked for the day.
    Then I installed a new one... It worked.jpg New mirrors 2.jpg

    Off topic for a moment, I swapped the battery in the wife's 34 yesterday;
    Optima red top, lots of cranking amps.
    Of course the battery is in the trunk, in front of the rear wheels, in a cubby hole surrounded by upholstery.
    Took two Advils and a nap afterwards. Battery swap 34.jpg

    How tall are you? Looking at the picture of you in trunk hurts.

    I'm 5'9 and 1/2" tall and I'm 78 years old.
    Took me 2 hours to swap the battery, I'm getting too old for this stuff.

    This would be a nice engine combo for a steel Willys coupe... 426 Hemi .jpg

    That would be a nice combo for just about anything you could shoehorn it into!

    Looks like a 59/60 El Camino rear window.
    I asked several fellow SF natives if they ever heard of this club, nope.
