Bias h78s for the merc. On nice ford correct BP wheels. Innie hub cap wheels. Which is ok, I’m running full caps. Will probably sell my OE merc wheels now. Guy tossed in some slots 14s though
I have that same book, also an ex-library copy. It’s in a box in storage… along with all my other books currently.
Yep, that sort of thing is why my shop is bulging at the seams. I just bought a 'Vette hardtop i have no use for. The top, not the car!
I’ve got a use for the front. Just don’t want to start another project. But the best time to grab a part is when it finds you. Especially when it’s cheap. Or I guess it was.
Some friends of mine were cleaning out a shop for the family of a bodyman who passed, and I got the opportunity to grab a bunch of paint that no one else wanted. There was quite a bit more than this but the other stuff was just generic random cans of basecoat, enamel and lacquer, plus stuff like reducer and fisheye remover, etc. Was thrilled to get black lacquer to fix the paint on my '41 Cadillac, and some greens to mix together to try to match my '54 Nash project, but didn't expect to get a whole box of pearls and some old House of Kolors stuff too, was a good haul. Hopefully I find an excuse to use this stuff at some point. Got a neat glass bottle of Turtle Wax as well.
Not an exaggeration, the asking prices are beyond.. QUOTE="anthony myrick, post: 15664612, member: 91463"]Really? That much[/QUOTE]
Another neat find, green window tint in a can, based on the artwork I'd say early/mid 50's. Also, they're suggesting you tint your TV screen? Considering it's a liquid with a foamy/sponge type applicator, I would think this would be really tough to apply consistently.
