I failed to get the picture as my phone was dead, but I stopped and chatted with the owner of a Plum Crazy Hemi Cuda rag top yesterday at an event here in town. Nice ride, pistol grip, black guts, rally wheels, nicely detailed. I told him I assumed it was a "tribute car" and he confirmed and asked how I knew. I explained that he looked and sounded like an intelligent man and thus smart enough not to drive a million-dollar car on the street. We laughed. I saw one cross the block at BJ one year and it brought an excess of the 7 figure mark.

His Mopar was sitting next to a 69 Camaro rag top SS car. I was telling him of my preferences of the Mopar on how it fit together and looked sans roof. He said that was his car as well and that he agreed. He also said the purple drop top rode a lot nicer. I have never driven one so I will have to take his word for it.

    Long live the rag top!

The Chryslers rode better because of the longer wheel base. But the GM cars handle better and the seats don’t hurt my back.

I can't answer to that as I have never driven a Mopar ragtop. I drove a 69 Charger once and wasn't overly impressed on the cornering. But I will give them credit for a much bigger back seat
