Isn't it nice they are feeding the blue whale car an S10 off that flatbed? :D

One would HAVE to drive it "With a S#/t eat'n grin" because everyone that sees it on the road, is going to be pointing and laughing at you. Share in the fun, or leave it parked!

the whale, originally done as a promo vehicle for WAYL radio station and built around a late 70's el camino. I saw it sell at an auction about 20 years ago....

I like it. To me it looks like art deco, but more sharp/pointy at the edges. Forgive the description, I'm no artist.

    Cheers,

It has that look of a 2 wheel drive truck (or tractor) puller at the fair. The bracket on the front to hang the weights, and the paddle tires at the rear to get traction. The short rear end to hook onto the sled.
The short sighted builder didn't want (or couldn't) shorten the wheel base on the door pull truck frame.
"Lets put an old Chevy car body on the pull truck, I have a buddy that will give me the sheet metal off a 4 door 55 or 56 he has in his back yard. We can just move the rear wheel openings toward the back a bit. It will be SO COOL!

It doesn't have that look of being completed yet, maybe its an in progress pic (it appears to have new paint, but I don't see a motor), or maybe when they saw it in real life, they quit.
