That Willys cruised past me last night. It sounds as good as it looks. Lots of high dollar blower cars going up and down A1A.

 

Haven't been to the Turkey Run since '92, I did make it to Daytona Bike Week in '02. Guess I'm over due!

 

When I lived in South Florida back in the mid seventies I use to go to the Turkey run all the time. In fact, one year I won the raffle car. a flat head 48 Ford 4 door. Only problem was, it looked really nice, but I had to tow it all the back to Ft. Lauderdale because it had a fuel issue. Here's a couple pics of it later in a local car show.

 

This car is the spitting image of a the '55 Chevy a guy that lived down the street from me owned when I was 12 years old, it was a simple car but the set of mags made it stand out in the early 60's. HRP

Back in the mid 70's a buddy in McGregor had a car that was a dead ringer for that one. It wasn't for sale but a guy showed up in town, looked it over and offered far more cash on the spot than he thought it was worth. Half our later it was loaded on a truck with a couple more cars and headed to Chicago somewhere north to be sold up there.
