If it's any indication of projected attendance; my late registration number is just over 1,400.

Planning to go Fri and Sat. Late registration also, with number in the 1100’s. Lots of difference from 20 years ago when over 5,000 showed up. A sign of the times I guess.
    Wonder if York will survive?

I’m headed there for the first time with my friend and his 38 Chevy coupe. Looking forward to meeting up with some Hamber’s

Going to miss this year. You-know-what is spiking in PA and anyway, I'll be in Iowa for my 50th college reunion. Hope it is a good show. Look to park on Pennsylvania Avenue. It's close and free.

    Yes, sadly.

  15. Weather permitting I will be heading out Thursday.

  16. Yeah, but just spectating with friends. Doing that a lot more lately. Must be age?

  17. ...Yeah, and that's OK.

  18. ....I don't like it either, but it's not really that big of a deal at York. Just sayin'.

  19. We're holding an Open House from 2-5pm on Thursday. @mcsfabrication @Pass The Torch and anyone else coming to York, we'd love to have y'all stop by. We're a stones throw from the host hotel at 1580 Trolley Road. And of course we'll be set up at the show as well. Hope to see you guys there!

I worked the York show for about 15 years as a vendor and always did really well. Also enjoyed sneaking over the swap meet where there were always some goodies. I fear York has went the way of Knoxville and Springfield with diminished attendance both in spectators and hot rod vendors.

I belong to NSRA and GoodGuys. GoodGuys does a much better job of running their shows (especially registration) and they do a much better job of promoting their events, which include more than the car show. GoodGuys magazine blows StreetScene out of the water. StreetScene needs a complete overhaul. There is very little of interest to me in that magazine. If it weren't for Louisville, I'd drop my membership.

Goodguys did such a good job of advertising that York went away for them like Indy and more.

Friday. Sunny, breezy, mid 70’s. You couldn’t buy better weather. Great change from usual oppressive heat followed by a gully washer.
Honestly, very low spectator count. Number of cars seemed a bit off- but still some amazing rides. Small swap meet but better than recent years. No, I didn’t buy the supercharger. I am sure Saturday will be better attended.

I took a boat load of pic's. I'll post them in a bit. Always like attending York.
