I bought a bunch of stuff from the estate of a Corvette restorer. The crown jewel to me was the red plexiglass scoop on that C1 hood. Pulled the scoop and sold the hood.. 20211227_161804.jpg 20220215_190242.jpg 20220215_190245.jpg

I’d use one on my 64, is there any indication of the manufacturer on your scoop?

    No...no names on it anywhere..

  8. There was someone making several different styles of plexiglass/acrylic scoops in a verify of colors last summer, but I didn't save the contact info.

My 54 Vette has this one, same as above. Put on in the mid 60's they were advertised in the magazines for 39.50. That's about $355 in today's money. No wonder they're rare.
