I'm thinking flat head ford but I might be barking up the "wrong tree". I may go out on a "limb" and say an olds. Or maybe a different "branch" of gm.

Honestly say it's the first engine that gives me "wood" too...

Think it wood run on methanol?

Honestly found this on homemadetools. Thought you gents would find it interesting.

I agree, think it might have come out of this 40 Panel.....with a three on the tree.

Just imagine that was all nice n' shiny on the showroom floor once upon a time...

I wonder if the acorn nuts that grow on the tree are rusty...:p

If you root around you might find a serial number, or you can leaf it alone. But I'm just going out on a limb here. Forest not mine, woodn't you know.

I think the flathead being "lynched" is putting tension on the corner post, or a gate maybe, aint we got no ranchers here among us?

That's a early 21 stud, see the freeze plug on the pan rail. Not really a freeze plug, but that's what
    folks call them.

It doesn’t take long for stuff like this to start happening. I’ve an old black walnut tree out back, it’s sprouted many a “mini” tree. I regularly cut them down and pull them out.
But 5 or 6 years ago I moved some stuff around and piled up some wheels and tires.
Some time later I noticed a scrub growing up through a wheel I laid against the fence. I’ll post a pic before work, but I decided to leave it in place. The scrub is a good 15 foot tall now, I’m hoping I live long enough to cut it down with the “tree” wedges inside the wheel register, and put it on the porch with the tree sticking out both side a few inches.
Little things in life that give me a pleasure;)
