Charlie Morse's rather diverse collection at the University of Redlands quite a few years ago.

Rod and Custom(?) did a feature on the injected Olds Studebaker after it went to another buyer. He claimed it had been at Valley Customs, Barris', etc. Oh, well.

Charlie worked for John Butera and more on various funny car teams through the years. We'd ridden off together in the first day of our being in the Army to Ft. Polk, Louisiana.

Later I had the roadster for a month or two while he was in Japan. Mine was apart at the time. His started right up, road nice, didn't leak, stopped well, etc. – boring as hell. I was glad to get mine running again.

 

There is a guy with hair like that from Connecticut. I saw him several times at different car venues.
