Love it. Looks like a survivor. Saw my first true hot rod in about 1959. It was a channeled Duece 5W , cycle fenders and primer. That was in Turtle Creek, PA. Always wondered what happened to it?
Looks like a nice start. What’s the frame, the wheelbase looks a little short but maybe that’s just an illusion.

Oh I get it I love survivors and some of these guys that own them are pretty anal about anyone seeing them even though this is the best place to share the gospel... It's probably Mr Chevrolet's buddy...and some of these buddy's are not very close buddy's due to any number of eccentricities...he may be getting a hit squad show up at his door if his friend finds out...trust me I know of one...
Boy somebody has destroyed the "A" post's on that model A damn custom guys can't leave anything alone!
Hey!!! is that a universal frame with steering box mounts on both sides? An Aussie Right rail and a US Left maybe...or an old Jalopy racer perhaps?...
I agree with alchemy, you can also see the double wall of the frame for the x- member which is 33-34. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
it's an old drag car that hopefully will get resurrected into a driver. same owner for 50+ years. frame might be a Mercury
