loudbang, that's a beautiful, red 55. I think it's a timeless look. I once pulled up to a coffee shop in my 55, when a kid walked out the door and said, "Is that a Corvette?" Although he didn't know what it was, it certainly caught his attention.
Very cool looking ! I would love to see how your created and routed your exhaust with the side cutoffs !!
I found one of the expired advertisements for that black '57 with the cutouts. It has Stewart-Warner gauges, but is apparently "just" a D-code 245-hp, 312 with an overdrive. I'd drive it!
I don't know how any gear head couldn't like the 55-57 Thunderbird.. The platform to this car is very strong. It comes with nice long lower front control arms, flat upper front control arms. This should make dialing in a decent amount of positive caster fairly easy...
Maybe I’m stupid and very naive, but, at 70 years young, I’m not giving up on truly good times with friends and family, especially family. When I’m gasping for my last breath, I want to be sure that the kids and Mom are Ok. Other than that I’m living every day to the full. 56 Birds was always were on my list. And this one is just plain old fun. Sent from my iPad using H.A.M.B.
Bringing this one back just because. I would like to know more about it, where it is etc. Love everything about. Great FI adaptation for this.
