    I believe that was Ron Mancini at Dallas Texas 1969. It was the beginning of the NHRA "No neutral starts" policy enforcement.

    I Love This Car!! I checked it out for hours years back when you brought it down to Loveland, CO for the GG show. Such a neat car with incredible history!!!

    From above -
    Would this now be considered an altered wheelbase ? I know, the wheelbase is still the same, just the "altered" body..!
    I'll be landing took an inch or so out the the drives spine.

    Actually other than the rear fender damage and some qtr panel damage it survived real well the landing wasn’t that bad as he kept the throttle down and landed it fairly easy it could have been real bad
