After viewing the '33-'36 and '37-'42 willys threads and being frustrated by a lot of the pictures ruined by Photobucket putting their watermark all over them ,or just plain gone, replaced by a red X. I thought let's just make one great big gigantic Willys thread with all of them in one thread. I'm sure guys like @loudbang will have a blast reposting pictures from other threads.
TIP. So your pictures don't disappear I've had good luck saving pictures to my computer then posting them, instead of just cutting and pasting them here.

Along with SWC one of My favorites and I got to meet Bones along with Isky a few years back at the Meltdown Drags! Have wanted to build a black version of this car for 50 years. The stance and profile is perfect! Larry

@ramblin dan That's the first picture i've seen of the front end of Mike Steinberg's Willys . I've seen it on my Jackson Bros. Gasser Files1&2 tape but it was racing with the front end off. I think it ran a blown S.B.C for power.

  12. This is Quicksand II. The first picture, taken by Dad at Oswego dragstrip was one of the few pictures survived a flooded basement in the early seventies. The other pics were found on the net. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the place or where exactly it is.

Although I am glad I am only 65 and hopefully have a few years ahead of me ,I look at pictures of the 60's and find myself always wishing I came of age in the early 60's instead of the early 70's ! Don't mean to take this tread off track. It is just how much these cars and those times inspired and continue to inspire my love of this era of Drag racing and hot rods! Larry

I worked at Service Center many year ago and remember the yellow Willys on the business cards, never saw or knew about an actual car. Anybody remember? sc.JPG

33 Willys 77 As far as I know Ron Norman still owns them (both JM cars) and the museum might be his collection. I know he moved from Illinois and sold the Bee Line Willys. I will check my friends are in touch with him often.
