Technical 1936 Wishbone - Bent or Not Bent?

I just picked up a 1936 Ford front wishbone for my project and test fitted it to my axle, which I believe to be a 1936 one as well. However, when I install either perch to the corresponding wishbone end, the other perch is like 4-6" higher to the other wishbone end. It is like the wishbone perch ends are 'V' 'd out somehow. Was this factory or is my wishbone a bit tweaked?

 

I believe your wishbone is upside down.
