    Sorry guys, that's Roy Orbison. Buddy Holly's wife had a miscarriage when he died in the plane crash .Never had any other kids.

    Of course it is Roy. Somebody didn't know what Buddy Holly looked like. Roy's wife Claudette was killed in a motorcycle and not long after at least one of their kids was killed in a housefire while he was on tour in England. A lot to handle...

    An Avanti owner told me they came with a sticker that warned of opening the windows above a certain speed making the rear window pop out. I never confirmed if that was true.

  27. I really like the pic of Ute. Not sure of year as they look same/similar for at least 4 or 5 years. Wish I had one. Looked at one in L.A. for sale about 3 years ago, but rust was more than my limited skills could deal with.
