I have a set (4) of Foresight Indy speed wheels with aluminum center cones. 15x6 , 4.5 bolt pattern. And a set (4) 1965 Corvette Steelie take offs. And a pair of single rib , like the radirs. Lastly a pair of Sprint torque thrusts style. Keep waiting for the right car to stick them on.

  4. Anyone ever seen these ? old ?

  5. Can't say as I've ever seen wheels set up quite this way, at least not that I was aware of. Never knew they ever made such a thing, but it's certainly a novel approach. No markings or numbers stamped or cast anywhere?

Might help to post some pics of the backsides of both the wheels and the inserts. Is the flange area of the wheels as thick as it looks in the pictures?

Those are "repro" wheels for corvette grand sports. The ones I have seen before are from the 80's ??

Probably chevy pattern. Try to google from here, I think you will find them.

I picked up a set of four Kelsey Hayes "Stripper" wheels on ebay several weeks ago. They're 15x6, but with a 5x5 bolt pattern. I had never heard of them coming in that pattern, I thought they were in only 4.5 or 4.75BP. They don't appear to have been mounted either. Going on my 64 Riviera. stripperwheel.jpg

Bought a set of M/T wheels a few years ago. Only had one good center cap. Just a few weeks ago a guy in Ohio had some NOS center caps for sale right here on the HAMB.

I just got a pair of these vintage Cragars. They have an aluminum center and a steel chrome plated dish. The face of the spokes are cast with a recessed area in them like the 65’ 66’ Shelby wheels had. These aren’t Shelby wheels, these have a Chevy lug pattern and are 15x7. Shelby wheels were 15x6. I’ve seen similar looking Caragar GT’s but they are a mag style wheel (they don’t have a steel chrome dish). These wheels have a few patents on the back. further research on the patent numbers show Roy Ricter of Cragar filed the patent for Bell Auto Parts (I included a pic of the patents). The patent shows a year date of 1966. Does anyone have this exact wheel? Have more info on them? Ever came across them before? Or have some pics? Thanks for the help 93300FD6-6652-4FE0-962C-A8139ABBE71F.jpeg AFF3B516-54D3-48FC-A002-8FF5AC751A10.jpeg D3CF02D5-852E-463F-8131-12D42C29B3AB.png

I appreciate the reply, I thought they were GT Plus also, but notice the lip of the wheel on the GT plus isn’t chrome steel like the one I have.

  15. This wheel is a regular Cragar S/S. Your 1st picture shows wheel in an ad do you have the wheels in your possession? Does it say Cragar, it may be some copycat from another company

There’s a company out there called Paradise Wheel Company that produces new exact replicas of the 1965-66 Shelby wheels. Only in Ford lug pattern. The Cragars I have look really close almost exact to these. Chrome Steel outer rim (dish) and aluminum cast center with recessed area in each spoke, polished face of spoke. The only real difference is the recessed area on my wheels is bumpier, not as smooth. Here’s a pic of the Paradise wheels, maybe this pic will help if anyone has any more info. I do have the wheels. I just bought them. “Cragar” is cast in the back of the spoke. The patents on the backs of the wheels correlate to Roy Richter of Bell Auto Parts who bought Cragar. Bell Auto parts out of Bell California os one of the first speed shops in the USA.

  18. I've had later production Cragar G/T that had chrome rims maybe the wheels in the ad are 1970's production. I also noticed they have been made into uni-lug

Good eye! They do have oblong lug holes. On the back of the wheel is also stamped “4 3/4” which is a Chevy lug pattern. You can notice it in the pic of the back of the wheel. So you had a pair like just like this? If so do you have any pics? Thanks

  29. Wide wire with a Dunlop racing tire. Probably from a Jag , big Healey, Morgan or Ferrari. I don,t know. Had a bit of welding done to it :rolleyes:o_O. Tire is worn so it must have passed tech somewhere .

  30. I’m thinking that American Racing made them for awhile as an entry level wheel for Cobra replicas. Not bad looking wheels .
