Some printer's blocks. I paint them black, then sand them with 600 grit paper on a flat block, to expose the copper or lead, then spray them with clear. The 2 shots of rusty parts I took yesterday. There are 3 well rusted and picked over abandoned cars in the park near my house. 072.JPG 071.JPG 070.JPG 052.JPG 062.JPG

  19. Gary Campesi's work with a nasty crop. Ian Guy earlier too. I'd be none- too happy to see my mark cropped out & published with no acknowledgement like this.

That is in fact why we do not see Gary here anymore...Perhaps he will Share His Work here again...He is a Gifted Talent...

A great deal of the imagery here and throughout the Hamb is posted without credit...I suspect many grab these images already web bastardized...doesn't make it right, but that may many times be how the cropped imagery was saved when found...I searched Gary's work posted by 47 and there is a large web presence many of them cropped...All Web Artists experience this and it will in fact live beyond ourselves...

It's nice to see participating Hambers posting on topic Hotrod/Custom Art but if you see the Artist or Photographer's name or not give them Credit...it's just an appreciation and thanks to them for Inspiring You...and Share Away I love to see Hotrod/Custom Art.

By the way, I see some of you are...Thank You...It also helps establish how one compliments your sharing of Art...Many don't know you are posting another's Art and compliment You as an Artist and that is really not the case at all...the line in the sand is skewed per say...

How do You Credit?...at a minimum...;)

    Credit to Artist, Owner

    Credit to Photographer, Owner

Are they a Hamber?...Post a Link to a related Thread...Web Links are Nice...

I seriously Thank All Photographer's and Artist's that have Come and Gone or are still here Doing What You Do...;)

You Inspire My Life...I hope the Stogyism's do the same...

  25. Getting in on the tail end here but wanted to post one for Veterans Day coming up this week. I did this a few years ago to honor the Flying Tigers "Tex Hill". I may have posted it once before.

  26. I agree, Spoggie. Posting someone else's art without any attribution or credit is just wrong. It's almost as if the one posting is taking the credit for the artwork. Full credit needs to be given to the artist in order to provide integrity for the postings. Even a "Not my work" disclaimer is better than nothing, but posting another's work with no credt at all to the original artist is wrong, IMHO>
