You will need to post better pictures than that, mainly taken apart. If the pinion support is destroyed, price goes down. Not convinced its a Frankland...
Agreed, that does not look like a Franklin. Notice how the spur gear cover comes off on a Franklin. I think you may have something way more interesting.
I have a Halibrand 301, Winters champ, and a Frankland, and the one pictured in the first post doesn't strike me as a Frankland.
Franklin built air cooled cars. Frankland built QC 3rd members. Another dude named Franklin invented bifocals and a type of wood burning stove, but, I digress
