The
Fire Chief of the L. A. area fire department(Lynwood F.D.) I used to work at owned that water tower/private residence for a while. He lived on one floor and rented out the other for parties and such. I don't think he owns it any longer.

 

The suburb that never was, the Boeing aircraft factory (Plant 2, Seattle, WA) covered 14 hectares complete with houses, streets, footpaths, trees, lawns and shrubs nestled in gently rolling hills. As such the entire suburb for camouflaged and at the time the largest building with some of the longest single-span trusses. The suburb sat over 12yds high, atop the WWII airplane factory.

Used on all Mercury and Ford V8 cars 1942-48. Purpose to stop clutch chatter.

 

I had a slot car with an FJ Holden body on it,used to go to the tracks at Parramatta in the late 70s
