    It’s probably 5-6’ wide. A biggun!

Not trying to be a dink, just thought it was funny. Keeping up property is a big never ending job.

I’m positive it’s still there. It’s a few miles from the house. I’ll go back for it this weekend if the weather isn’t too bad. Have to damn near pack that thing up a cliff.

Take lots of rope and younger guys with muscles. There's always younger guys around trying to impress someone with how much stronger they are than the old guys. Go ahead, be impressed. Then thank them nicely and buy them a beer.;)

  11. I know. I laughed, too. My next project is to clean out the garage around my "sitting and rotting" 1931 DB coupe so it will quit sitting and rotting.... post-37352-143137996175.jpg

Looks to me like you've managed to stop the rotting, just need to work on the sitting part. I think that's a pretty common problem.

I recognize that car. Out on RT 55 in Strasbourg, VA? I take it you’ve seen the Model A pickup on down the road in the shed? Travel that road all the time when I go to Fredericksburg.

We all know how that played out...

-guy driving down the road. Sees someone elses failed project they pushed to the curb.
-guy says to himself "what a pile"
    - goes about a quarter mile, does a U turn, and goes back
    - buys it for chump change, drags it home, stuff it in a barn for "some day im gonna restore it" haha doesn't even bother to clean the glass...

    Hey, its plausible.

  20. Yes, that's the same car. Here's a picture of the model A pickup. At the time, I didn't see anyone around to ask about it. But I've been told since, that it can't be bought. :) 20190312_074949.jpeg 20190312_074603.jpeg

  27. That Coupe Ute is an amazing find for 2019. I see a modern style house in the top right of the photo. Looks like progress is catching up there in the boonies. Time to clear up in the bush.

  28. Aussie57 great find! That would make a really Cool Rod. I spotted this 56 Chevy. But no one was home. So I may go back today. I have a 56 Nomad. I'm curious if it's just a parts car, or project. Maybe we can help each other. :) 20190330_154357.jpeg
