Vintage shots from days gone by!

They just completely renovated the Union Terminal in Cinti , last year . It looks the same as in this photo . It is now used as Museum Center . Cool place to see and visit , neighborhood isn’t so good anymore . The Reds , Crosley Field was blocks from this building also . I 75 took the neighbor feeling away from the area many years ago . Best as I can remember the building was completed in 1932

 

It is the Topper car after it became the Gilmore Special with companion trailer. IIRC, it is not stashed in a basement, but I might be wrong. They ruined the car with "updated styling" but there are still those who like it.

My wife and I went on a road trip in 1998, and after visiting the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon, we went through Oatman. What a sight with donkeys in the streets, horses tied up to a saloon, and abandoned gold mines along the side of the road. We also wished we had stopped to take in the sights more closely !
