Vintage shots from days gone by!

Yep, the calypso tie in for sure. I had a white pair with black stripes. Wore them when I spent time at my grandfathers place at the Jersey shore. Seems like boat neck shirts were in then too. I wouldn't have dared to wear that where I lived ten miles south of Newark. lol

I should have been more clear in my statement. I also like the 56. It was just the design of the front grille that didn't appeal to me as much as that of the 55.

The term "Heap" might have a different meaning in the USA.

We normally refer to a "Heap" as an abbreviated term , meaning " Heap of Sh*t"
