Hi Aaron, Could you give me some details on the fan set up/ I have a 8ba eng that I am using early water pumps and heads on, with a 3 carb intake. I need a set up similar to yours. Great work.Glad you're setteled.

Hi Jim, I cut the original fan mount and used the part that holds the fan shaft. I then welded a plate to the part. I set the fan as low as possible, then drilled the mounting hole. I will probably add a couple gussets for strength before I paint it.

A little steering wheel restoration action. Some older footage, some new footage.

How did you protect the trim rings? Did you mask them off?

Here is how I put my steering components together. Hope it sheds some light on some of the components.

  17. Still really liking the video updates! Not knocking the rest of the build threads but the videos just provide so much detail. Thanks for taking the time to make and edit them!

Hi Aaron: nice job! Quick question- What was the issue with the cam bearings?? Wrong bearings or issue w/ the block??

    Keep up the great work

  21. Like your taillights. I used the same ones on a vintage style teardrop trailer I built for my brother. You might want to paint the inside of the housing white as they aren’t real bright in the daylight sometimes. (Supposedly white is brighter than silver which is what I used.) I’m jealous of the old lens, too.

Hi Davey, the machinist told me he found a burr on the rear bearing. He said he burnished the burr out. The cam turned freely when I got it back from him.

Thanks guys. Today I put the motor back in and worked on fabricating an adjustable clutch pedal return stop. Little steps forward!
