Didnt really know what it was but seemed I had seen something similar like maybe a hilman or something, but the reason I said it was a home made amphicar is all the beach balls inside, maybe used to make it float

Is that 'teens vintage fire truck the one that is sitting in a field on a creek bank near Cedartown GA going toward Cave Spring? Looks like it--I've seen it from a distance but not close up.

 

It's in Valona...near Sapelo Island.

I wonder which engine is under the hood of that Dodge doodlebug?

Could it have been cobbled up with a Fast 4?

Mac, it could have a fast 4. It would make for a cool speedster. I took a photo of the 4 sale sign, as no one was around. The problem is, the cell phone didn't take a very good picture. They're at Clumberland Md. I spotted them when I attended the {Western Md. Rod Round Up}. I think that the doodle bug could be had very cheap. I don't need a project, but would love to see it saved. { JW } Thats my coffee mug on the old Dodge! Lol. I really enjoy this thread. So keep the pictures coming. May help to save some of these old cars. { RUST IS MY FAVORITE COLOR } Ron.... Here's three that I've saved.

I once had one of those old CHevy trucks and it wasn't that laid back. Looks like the wood is caving in and giving it a custom look.

I was thinking that but I didn't think they built trucks like that.

 

It's a 34 Chevy like JunkyardJeff pointed out.

 

Viagra can help with that....

 

Possibly it would be preferable that instead of keeping them. they sold them for a pittance to the scrapper.
